IMS Implementation Analyst- Capital Market (Misys Sophis) required for a large FI in Middle East

I am working on an assignment for a large FI based in Middle East which seeks to recruit an IMS Implementation Analyst- Capital Market (buy side) responsible for implementing and supporting a buy-side Capital Market system. This is a hands-on role and the individual will be responsible for enhancing and supporting the Misys Sophis system. The candidate would:

1. Be primary support contact for all matters relating to the system
2. Document workflow and dashboard configuration and apply this configuration
3. Document, Monitor and support system batch processes
4. Develop and maintain system interfaces: Bloomberg Data Licence (batch), Bloomberg Server API (real time), Omgeo CTM, MarkitSERV, Eagle STAR accounting platform
5. Conduct front line testing prior to user testing

The ideal candidate would be a graduate with 7 years of IT experience of which at least 3 years would be in developing and supporting Misys Sophis.  They must have experience of  capital markets data requirements in terms of listed equities, corporate actions, STP for listed equities, OTC options. They also must have (for Misys Sophis)
§   Experience of the testing lifecycle and guiding business users from UAT through to production

§   Understanding of various business units and the trade order life cycle

§   Documenting Use Cases, Test Cases and Acceptance Criteria

Candidate should have technical knowledge of SQL/Oracle – ability to write complex queries against databases and understanding of importing and exporting data requirements for capital and derivatives risk systems

Senior Business Analyst (IMS) required for a large FI in Middle East

My client, a large FI based in Middle East, seeks to recruit a Senior Business Analyst to capture business requirements, perform hands-on configuration of systems related to activities within the investment departments and act as a key driver for the implementation of solutions to fulfill these requirements. The candidate would operate as a senior business and configuration analyst within the full delivery lifecycle of requirements capture, contract negotiation, implementation, testing and on-going support of the final deliverable.

 

The candidate would

·         Perform detailed business requirements analysis and documentation to a very high standard

·         Transform business requirements into functional specifications

·         Implement functional specifications by directly configuring the eFront Front Invest system as well as other applications in the portfolio (Eagle, Charles River Development, Misys Sophis etc)

·         Participate in the construction of business cases required to support initiatives related to the investment management areas including full contractual development, resource planning and budget estimations

·         Perform end user training and application awareness sessions

·         Prepare user documentation and training manuals

The ideal candidate would have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent along with Industry recognized qualification such as IAQ, IMC or CFA. They would have:

·         6-8 years of experience within a buy side institution, 3 of which as a Senior Business Analyst

·          2 years’ experience of hands-on configuration of the eFront Front Invest system

·         Business and Industry knowledge of Real Estate, Private Equity, M&A and Business Development

·         Experience in defining requirements for an application including the UI, workflow and end client document needs

·         End-to-end experience of the project lifecycle

·         Proven experience interacting directly with end users and senior management

·         Good knowledge of methods to document business requirements such as UML and BPMN

VP/Senior Credit Officer- FI Division required for a large bank in MiddleEast

I am working on an assignment for a large bank based in Middle East which seeks to recruit a Sr. Credit Officer- FI Division reporting to Group Chief Credit Officer. The candidate would review, analyze and evaluate credit applications for new credit/renewal of existing credit line beyond the approval authority of credit officers/credit committees. He would manage the team of credit analysts and ensure timely, high quality credit risk analysis for credit proposals submitted by business (including subsidiaries). He would also conduct credit risk analysis of all key counterparties.
